The flying youngsters group of Sant Tukaram Vidyalay and Sant Jijabai Kanya Shala showed that,’ a small step from the end of every Indian citizen can be a big step for the dream of Clean India Revolution’.

The students participated in a cleanliness drive, wherein they stepped out of the school premises as waste warriors with their brooms and gloves. They not only cleaned the area but also collected the non-biodegradable waste littered on the road. The local working bodies also participated in the drive.

The cleanliness drive was graced by eminent personalities like Ms. Namrata Patil (DCP,Pune Zone 2), Mr.Rahul Solapurkar (Renowned Actor), Dr. Kailash Katkar(MD and CEO, Quick Heal Technologies Ltd.), Mrs. Anupama Katkar (VP HR, Quick Heal Technologies Ltd.).

Other dignitaries included Ms.Hirabai Botre (Sarpanch, Yelwadi), Mr.Ajay Shirke (CSR Head, Quick Heal Foundation), Ms. Smita Apte (Director, Pankh).

The program was organized by Pankh counselors Ms. Jyoti Katikar and Sachin Karanjule.
